Masa kecik2 dulu, always nampak grown ups as an old old people who is boring & dull. As time goes on, parent kite slalu ckp how fast you(my brothers & sister) all grow and we felt that, alaa masih lama lagi... Kelip2 mata... now dah jadi university student, my brother pun dah masuk uni. My dad & mom is getting old. Now kitorang lak jadi grown up yg nampak boring to the eyes of the children... hihihi unless of course kalo main dgn dema & choc never fails to attract children . Most of my relatives yg kite duk slalu manja2 masa kecik, one by one xde. The next thing you'll know your daughter is having a baby... huhuhu... Thank god, tak berlaku lagi...
Betul la ape yg parents aku cakap tuh. Its scares most people, but they never really think about it. About your parents too will slip away... Its scares me the most. Hmm but we all die, one day & will meet again in another world.

Another Japanese Dish - Nabe
|
|
Next I'm gonna introduce another tabe (eating) shuukan (practise) in Japan. Its called Nabe. Its almost the same as chinese steamboat except you cooked food indoor on a claypot while all your family & friends gather around it.
The ingredients could vary from chicken to fish(salmon, maguro, etc), vegetables, lots of mushrooms, mushrooms, mushrooms & seafood(small crabs, oysters) depending on your appetite. There are many type of Nabe and one of them is called Oden, with lots of vegetables in it. Now you know why Japanese live longer .
Usually Nabe is eaten in the cold seasons.

This pics are from my first year playing snowboard untill last year 2003. Just last year I was able to buy a good snowboard - Burton 145 Feather. Very lightweight & but I think its too slow. Good for novice & intermediate snowboarders. Also bought K2 Range Boots & Flux Binding... very comfortable than those in rental shops.
Actually I wish I got my self Salomon Substance 147 or Burton Feather 151 (a bigger one) or Salomon Ivy (but they said its for the pro's) but can't find one with a good price.

The Chemistry

|
|
This picture is taken from special edition photo booklet of The Chemistry 3rd album OneXOne. I got this album as a birthday present from my bestfriend. This album is no1 in Japanese Music Chart and has been my favourite since.
The Chemistry is a duo of Kaname Kawabata(my favourite) and Yoshikuni Dochin. They have been one the top group Japan these few years. You should try and hear them out. Far better than boys group.

Returning Tomorrow
|
|
|
Today is my birthday. I'm not celebrating my birthday today since everybody went back home at Malaysia. Here's a translation from a japanese song 'Ashita He Kaeru' from The Chemistry. It means Returning Tomorrow. Its a favourite song of mine whenever I felt down or giving up. Its almost like an ant story. No matter how hard the ant carries the burden on his back, they kept falling and their house is miles away, they never give up and will do the same tomorrow again.
Ashita He Kaeru
Although far, I will walk return
Two tiles , the usual step
If I walk in this way,
When I will return home ?
It has come to a standstill. Even if it continues gathering excuses
Wherever you go, you'll never go forward.
Taking balance. A leg is straddled. Even if it continue standing.
It is only repeating as yesterday. I surely need to arrive anywhere --
while there has been nothing an end, arrive anywhere -- there is nothing freely an end.
When it turns, it sees a new crescent. The wind calmly flows behind.
If he walks in this way, however small he's step might be,
The scenery will change.
Stop gap, even trying to find his own mistake many times,
The answer is not found. Even when he lost, even frightened, there is a hidden light,
Shining beyond. I will walk all the way and the scene will change.
So far... I cannot see... The place I aim, has dissappear.
This cannot be the reason, is it?
Do not stand still. Don't tell excuses.
Keep continuing holding your heart,
One little step, until you reach the light.
Only kept repeating the yesterday of me,
It does not become by the end of tomorrow.
Even stepping forward in a small way,
With an oath, I will return home, walking.
I will walk for tomorrow. Returning home.
The Chemistry
