All this pics are from my friend's digital camera, since I don't have my own camera. He uses Canon IXY Digital L (4.0 Megapics). Most of his pics (not the USJ's) were good. Very user friendly.

I had my eyes on this new Canon camera digital SLR, Canon EOS Kiss Digital... but its weee to expensive. Just came out few months ago in Japan. Not seen it yet on international market. But thinking bout it, maybe its too bulky to bring it around...

2003's Spring was not really that nice in Nagoya. Every year we held picnics for juniors that just arrive to Japan. But tis year was bad luck. Cherry blossom (or Sakura we called it) drop faster than usually.

Anyway, my bestest friends was bored since we do not do anything . The spring holiday is almost over. The suddently one of us pop up an idea. Why don't we just have a picnic. Hey... anyway the cherry blossom isn't really that over yet... So 4 of us went on a very sunny day to Tsurumai Park infront of my university. Our picnic... was... quite fast ... that is we only bought fast food.. hahaha .. Pizza, Potato Chips & Ice Cream...

While sitting under a tree, we saw 2 turtles.. in a very suspicious position ..hehehehe..

Romantic View of Tokyo

Rainbow Bridge from Odaiba
This pic was taken by my bestfriend at Odaiba. A very famous place at Tokyo. Usually you can see this Rainbow Bridge in Japanese Drama. There's also a miniature Statue of Liberty here.

From mytravel guide -
http://www.mytravelguide.com/
Quote:
So named because of its changing nighttime lights, Rainbow Bridge spans the bay from Minato-ku to Odaiba one of Tokyo's premier wining and dining areas. Comprising eight traffic lanes and two rail, the bridge also has a pedestrian walkway and observation towers. Opened in 1993, the suspension bridge is 918 meters long with a distance of 570 meters between the two towers. Another way to see this spectacular bridge would be to travel over it on the Yurikamome monorail line departing from Shimbashi. Or you could take a cruise boat up river from Hinode Pier to Asakusa. To take the walkway, get off at Shibaura-Futo Station on the Yurikamome line

Odaiba
Excerpt from Japan-Guide http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3008.html
Quote:
Daiba, literally meaning "fort", refers to some of the man made islands in the Bay of Tokyo, which were constructed in the end of the Edo Period (1603-1868) for the city's protection against attacks from the sea.

During the extravagant 1980s, a spectacular redevelopment of the islands into a futuristic business district was started, but development was critically slowed down after the burst of the "bubble economy" in the early 1990s.

It was not until the second half of the 1990s, that Odaiba developed into one of Tokyo's most interesting tourist spots and the highly popular shopping and entertainment district, which it is today. Further development of the area is still underway.

beautiful... but y is called rainbow bridge? Tue 20-Apr-2004 04:18

Bustling Tokyo

Looking for cheap stuff? Go to Akihabara
Near Tokyo Dome
3 biggest cities in Japan are Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya. Nagoya is where I live rite now.

Oneof the famous place in Tokyo is Akihabara. They say this is where u can get all the cheapest electrical appliances in Japan which I don't really agree. I could buy a notebook cheaper at Nagoya than buying at Akihabara. Anyway its fun walking around in its bustling streets.

Another place is Tokyo Dome. Japanese is soooo crazy about baseball. Tokyo baseball team, the GIANT is very famous. Baseball tournaments almost held all the time , I think, coz everytime I turn on my tv, there's a baseball tournament. They have domes at many large cities througout Japan. FIFA World Cup 2002 was held at these domes.

Near the dome there's a small theme park called Ainori Theme Park pick from a famous tv show in Japan, Ainori which means love ride. Its about recruiting people who doesn't have partners yet and want to find one. They travel around the world in a pink coloured van. So u can guess people who went to this park are mostly couples .

Baby Step - de First step

Guess who arrive with us?

Staying at Din's house. Poor guy, kena pindah rumah lain
View all 4 photos...
First step away from home for a long long long time. Firstly impression... so colddddddddddd.... apesal la xbawak jacket. Ngongek betui, dah tau Jepun baru habis winter.

And masa kuar dari airport, ada la few seniors waiting fer us outside with strange fashion(actually only one of them). His hair was sooo... hmm... nak ckp camne... jamaican? Then I found out, at this time, jamaican or maybe afro hair I think, was in style in Japan for guys. .

So these seniors took us to one of their houses (Zu's house) and asked us to introduce ourselves. Smoke from the cigarrates was filling up the room. The seniors look scary... but later found out they're alrite.

Then they took us to an Indian restaurant... We ate a different type of curry... they used fresh milk instead of coconut milk. It was somewhat an alien taste. We didn't really have the appetite to eat at that time.
